I’ve been using OpenHab for a while. It’s great for home automation like turning on lights at dusk or closing and locking the doors at bedtime. To make setup easier, they have a Raspbian based image that just works.
In fact, I logged in recently and discovered my little Pi has been running for two years without a reboot. That confirms the old Linux saying “Reboots are for ‘hardware’ changes”.
So true.
